Servo Weld Shaver

The PushCorp SWS100-3.7 Servo Weld Shaver has the power and capability to transform a largely varying profile into a consistent, predetermined surface slightly above or below the surrounding parent metal.  The SWS100-3.7 is ready to take on non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum.  This unit excels at removing weld beads and casting parting lines.

The SWS100-3.7 Servo Weld Shaver uses a six inch diameter slotting cutter positioned by adjustable, rolling guide wheels.  The guide wheels can be manually adjusted and set or, with the auto-adjust option, varied automatically during the weld-shaving process.  This allows the cutter to machine away the exact amount of material desired.  The twelve replaceable, carbide cutter inserts ensure a consistent, smooth cut and long life.  Easy access to the inserts allows them to be changed in a matter of minutes.

Remote-Adjust Option

The SWS100-3.7 may be ordered with a Remote-Adjust option. This allows the depth of cut to be adjusted, automatically, without stopping the weld-shaving process. The Remote-Adjust uses a lead screw driven by a stepper motor to precisely lift or lower the Guide Wheels of the SWS100-3.7.
